Weapon pack

Hello there!
I didnt find a thread covering this subject. So I thought there should be one.

1. Can someone from the MOD team give us a simple list of the weapons that will be used?
2. Will it be the standard: Ak74 - Aks74 - PKM - RPK74 - SVDS or rather new stuff?
3. What is very important to me - what pistols will those units have?

As the weapons pack is still on work, I'give you a list very soon.

At this moment we don't work on some pistols but If you have a list of those used by the spetsnaz with some documentations, we could consider it.

Ok I made a short investigation on pistols and here is a list of pistols that should really be made for such a mod.

1.
Stechkin APS

Quote :

My opinion: A classic, a must! Used widely, reliable and powerful. A good choice, hence a definite yes.



2. PB/6P9

the Soviet army, as well as for operatives of KGB.

My opinion: Quite a fine idea and of good use, but hard to implement in ArmA I would say.



3. SPS/ Gyurza / Vector SR-1

My opinion: Most 9mm shoot to max. 50m while not even able to pierce a class III vest at 20m. This monster shoots 100m with 100% successfull penetration. Favourite pistol of FSB at the time.



4. MP-443 Grach

My opinion: Most modern pistol family of Russias. Well balanced, light, accurate, comfortable, etc. so very welcome in the family of the best pistols around.



5. GSh-18

My opinion: No actual use for Spec Ops. Standard issue of officers in the field. Good penetration due to special hot bullets, and high capacity.



6. OTs-33

limited use with some OMON units in Russian police.

My opinion: Meant to replace the APS, quite a fine pistols the OMON use.

MP-446 Viking
My opinion: Very much like the Grach, beatiful new pistol. Could maybe be considered as some "extra bonus".

first, thanks for info

here a list a weapons i've done :

• AKS 74 from BIS original weapon : will come in gp25, silenced, PSO scope and 1P29 sight
  
• VSS Vintorez
  
• SVD with wooden grip and synthetic grip + camoed version
  
• Bizon come in silenced, non silenced and with Kobra sight
  
• AKMS (accessories are same as aks 74)
  

about ak74, i think we will use BIS weapon first (but later i can do my own ak74). about pkm/rpk, there is nothing planed at this time, i want to end actual weapons

how about the AK-108 most accurate assault rifle around.

Thanks for the answer. I would love to see the AS VAL too. Since you are making the Vintorez, the VAL is not very different.

And what about RPGs? There could be some RPG-16,18,22 or 16 because I do not think that Spetsnaz operators will make any grand use of the RPG7.

Maybe you can used the RHS Weapon's pack, it's full.

RHS pack is created for ofp then converted to ArmA. CWM weapon pack is created for ArmA

Is there any visible difference?

yes RHS textures are small in size (512x512). you can see pixels in arma when playing in first person view. and also i like to create my own addons.
